Trevor Harkema - Ocean Spray Mocktails

As a part of SRG, I had the exciting opportunity to help Ocean Spray launch a new-to-the world beverage to tap into the mixology market and inspire at-home cocktail hour. The packaging needed to stand out in the juice aisle through graphics only, as it would be packaged in the same bottle as other Ocean Spray juices. One of my designs (below) was selected for launch in 2017. My idea was simple⏤highlight a different cocktail on each bottle to showcase the eye-catching character, color, and garnishes of each drink.

I collaborated with food and beverage photographer, Noel Barnhurst, to shoot the on-pack photography and to showcase the product through a series of promotional stills and videos.

I then teamed up with local Boulder photographer, Brooks Freehill, to shoot a series of promotional lifestyle images.

I extended the Mocktails concept across several other products, my favorite of which is shown below. None of the line extensions have launched but a summertime Icy Pop Mocktail sounds nice huh?
